Admissions

Admissions Process

We make the admissions process as easy as possible for yourself or a loved one. Prisma is with you day and night being one phone call away from recovery.

Starting the Process

Compassionate Support

Our admissions are open 24/7 so they’re always ready for your call. Prisma’s trained staff, some also in recovery or have received treatment for mental health disorders, are with you every step of the way.

Initial Evaluation

During the pre-assessment stage, we will guide you through a series of questions to help us discover the ideal center and level of care to meet your or your loved ones’ needs. Honesty during the pre-admission phase is essential to understand how we can best treat you or a loved one.

Insurances Benefit

At this point in the admissions process, we evaluate how treatment expenses will be managed. We will work alongside your provider to verify your coverage if you possess health insurance. We want to ensure that you are able to access all the insurance benefits to which you are entitled to.

A Seamless Journey

After talking to the admissions team and verifying your benefits, we will help you arrange admission into our state-of-the-art treatment center. We encourage a loved one to accompany you to the center. If a loved one cannot accompany you to treatment, our staff will guide you into our center with empathy and understanding.

Overcoming Fear

We understand that facing the challenges of entering treatment can seem overwhelming, but our skilled team of professionals will walk you through each step of the way and answer any questions you may have.

Admissions Criteria

Once you have decided that Prisma is the right place for yourself or a loved one, let’s ensure we are the right fit for you. We provide stabilization and inpatient mental health treatment for all genders above the age of 18.

We know that there is a connection between those who struggle with mental well-being and co-occurring disorders like addiction. Prisma offers an integrated treatment approach to address all underlying issues.

Among the top mental health disorders we treat are trauma, anxiety, depression, personality, and mood disorders.

If you or a loved one meets our outlined criteria for care, you can start the admissions process by contacting us directly or by a professional you’re working with. A team member will be available to speak with you and begin the intake and admissions process as soon as you’re ready.

During Admissions

Our admission process is straightforward when you enter our facility. It is comprised of medical and comprehensive psychiatric assessments with a licensed clinician. This information is used with other assessments from the admissions process to craft the individual treatment plan.

Once the final intake assessments and processes are completed, one of our compassionate staff members will show you to your room, show you the facility and introduce you to the rest of the community.
